Welcome to our school.

Obviously, things are a little tricky this year and so in order to ensure we are Covid-19 safe we have got to run things a little differently to keep everyone safe.

Our open evenings will be held on the following dates:  (time slots start at 6.00pm and will run every 5 minutes until 7.05pm. Please email your preferred time)

Wednesday 23rd September 2020

Wednesday 30th September 2020

Tuesday 13th October 2020

Wednesday 11th November 2020

All Open Evenings will begin at 6pm, visitors will be given a specific time to arrive, we ask that you keep as close to that time as possible.

Upon arrival, you will be asked to put on your own mask (please bring with you), to use hand sanitiser and confirm that you are well and do not have any Covid-19 symptoms.

You will be asked to sign in and give your contact details, this is part of our ‘Track & Trace’ records but we also need to know the best email to contact you on post visit.

You will be met by myself, I am the Head Teacher and also by Mrs Critten who is our Early Years Leader. We will give you a pack of information, we will then direct you to collect a hot drink in a lidded cup and then hand you over to a guide who will take you on a tour of the school.

At the end of the tour you will be brought back to the main school hall where you can continue to ask any unanswered questions. The whole visit should take around 45 minutes maximum.

Groups will be no more than 6 people and that includes your guide. Ideally it would be better if children did not attend on these occasions so that we can show as many visitors around as possible. Not having children in is most unlike us – as a school we always welcome children and their families. That said if you really have no-one who can help you then please do bring the children with you but we will need to know in advance how many of you will be in the group.

We do ask that parents book an appointment ASAP, so please phone the school on 0208 462 4927 or email to let us know your preferred date.

If you would like any information about the actual application process, you can visit the London Borough of Bromley website at and click on the schools link.

Please do not hesitate to contact the school office if you need any further information.

Please click on the following link to show you a beautifully made, short film of our school to whet your appetite, starring none other than our very own Mrs Critten. It lasts about 10 minutes and really shows off our stunning outdoor space, which we have an abundance of, clearly you won’t get to see all of that during your evening visit. so please do sit down and enjoy it. If we say so ourselves we are very proud of it.

I look forward to welcoming you to Wickham Common Primary School and showing you what a great school we are.

Yours sincerely

Mrs Debbie Allis

Head Teacher
