PGL Day 4

Day 4

Fencing

Challenge Course

Wacky Races evening activity

Sports Games

Climbing Wall

Buggy Building

We’ve all enjoyed another very busy day. The sun has shone and all the children have participated in five contrasting activities.

Firstly, we had a taster session to learn the skills of fencing. We wore the correct clothing, and took part in ‘duels’ using our ‘foils’.

Some of us got VERY muddy today! We were set different challenges which required us to climb over, under and across a very wet and muddy assault course – what fun! Whereas others were treated to an hour and a half of sports on the field. Cricket, hockey and a variety of fun games were played and the instructor was very impressed with the children’s skills.

The climbing wall was a challenge but the children were amazing and all had a go. We are very proud of them!

Buggy building allowed us to work in teams. Children, in their groups, had to use barrels, large logs and ropes to build a moving buggy which would carry passengers. They were very successful.

Our evening involved some crazy races including ‘shoe golf’ and a lot of acting relay races with some Oscar-worthy performances!

We have had a fantastic week and the children are all excited to see their families again! See you tomorrow.
