Safer Internet Day 2018

This week we have been doing lots of work on keeping ourselves safe on-line. Please do talk to your children about this. Don’t be afraid of what they tell you – many of them have seen and heard and even been involved in inappropriate things when on-line but if we – as adults- freak out and take their technology away from them then this will go underground. We always want to be that cool, calm, informative voice ringing in their sub-conscious advising them how to behave and react. Help us to teach them how to be responsible digital citizens and together we can keep them safe and make the digital world a safer place too.

Good practices include, keeping your username and password safe and not sharing it with others, as well as, to tell a trusted adult if someone or something has made you uncomfortable or worried whilst on the Internet.
