PTA welcoming new pupils in September
A big and friendly Hello! To all parents whose children are starting school in September.
The PTA of Wickham Common Primary School wish to let you know we are all thinking of you during these unprecedented times and we are excited to welcome your children to our school family in September.
We have all been parents of new starters at our lovely school and we want to reassure you, that we are thinking of you and your little ones and cannot wait to welcome you all!
Traditionally, packing your little one off to start school is an exciting time but can also be daunting too. Coupled with the current climate, we appreciate it must be even harder for you.
We know that the school has written to you when you received your school offer and during this time, the school has been great at keeping us updated. We also wanted to let you know we are here for you and we have lots of fun things planned for your children when we finally can get to see them!
In the meantime we have set up a closed group facebook page for you to get familiar with and meet other parents. Please email us for the details.
We also have a weekly PTA newsletter which keeps all our parents and guardians aware of PTA events such as school discos, non-uniform days, summer and xmas fairs etc... Sign up to stay on top of the latest.
The PTA met recently (online via Zoom) to think of fun and exciting ways that we can use to compensate for the fact that our usual "new starter processes" is being affected.
As parents, we are also here for any advice, please feel free to email the PTA on firstname.lastname@example.org and one of our PTA parents can contact you for an informal chat.
Best wishes PTA xx
