Dear Zoo

Our youngest children from Conkers and Acorns went out on their first proper trip by bus into Bromley to visit the Churchill Theatre and watch a show called ‘Dear Zoo’ which links in with their curriculum. By all accounts the children were impeccably behaved and the trip was an outstanding success … even the school Governors – one of whom went along on the day – mentioned it to me! Congratulations to the children and staff and a big thank you to all the helpers.

1 Holly went out by minibus to a local farm at Ravensbourne School yesterday – again linking in with their Science topic ‘Humans & other animals’ – there was much excitement as they set off and serious discussion about what animals they might see and whether a giraffe was a possibility! Really made me giggle to hear them chatting! Apparently they stroked, amongst other creatures, a rat and a bearded dragon!!!
