Healthy Week


We have a very exciting week planned, a vast array of special activities are planned these include the following:-

 Visiting and taking part in a workshop on the Life Bus – funded by the PTA!  Cooking and designing their own healthy snacks/meals and packaging  JTAs ‘Walk to School’ Week  Mindfulness workshops  Yoga  ‘Run-a-mile’  Aerobics on the field  5-A-Day dance routines  A Big Breakfast (bring your own on Wednesday)  Visiting the Wildlife garden  Designing a water bottle (PTA template will be sent home next week)

To name but a few! It’s going to be fantastic and I do hope that you will feel you can support it by setting off from home earlier than usual and walking to school or at least parking further away and ‘park & striding’, coming in on scooters or bikes even pogo sticks is also highly recommended please!

Mr Grice and Mrs Taylor will be launching the week in a super-duper assembly first thing on Monday morning – so that is something to really look forward to! They will be sending home a letter on Monday about the arrangements for children bringing in their breakfast on Wednesday morning.

Parents are invited to have a session on the Life Education Bus on Tuesday afternoon from 2:50pm-3:10pm … if you’d like to see what goes on in there please pop along at 2:45pm next Tuesday and sign in at the office.
