Junior Travel Ambassadors

Our Junior Travel Ambassadors (Lauren & Michael) have been busy all year doing lots of assemblies and competitions to raise pupil awareness about healthy, active, safe travel and lifestyles. As part of their role today they have ‘tested’ the children from Acorns and Conkers on their driving skills. Children brought in their helmets, scooters and bikes and had to follow a circuit, stop at a zebra crossing and answer some theory questions about safety … how wonderful! I believe there was a 100% pass rate yaaay! Our JTAs along with Mrs Whitely also attended a mid-year training session with all the other Bromley Schools JTAs this week, so we are expecting lots more from them later on in the summer.

The JTAs have also organised the Year 3 Scootsure Training coming up soon – a letter is coming out to that year group only today.

Remember ‘year group specific’ letters will come out separately from anything I send.

As the Internet becomes ever more accessible, it is important to remember about using the Internet safely. The term e-safety is used to cover this area.

Good practices include, keeping your username and password safe and not sharing it with others, as well as, to tell a trusted adult if someone or something has made you uncomfortable or worried whilst on the Internet.
