This afternoon

This afternoon we are going to be treated to a special performance by our Super Singers. They will be singing the four songs that they have been invited to perform as part of The Bromley Schools' Festival of Music massed choir – I don’t know how the children remember all those words and melodies - amazing! The Rockers also successfully auditioned for a solo spot in the festival and will be playing three challenging pieces - we look forward to hearing them play to the school straight after half term in Monday's early assembly. The concert is on Tuesday 20th February at 2:30pm and tickets are available to buy from the Churchill Theatre box office – please do come along and join me and Sharon Newman – our Chair of Governors, in supporting our wonderful children at this very special and indeed prestigious event. Whilst on the subject of music I would like to share with you who has been chosen by Mrs Critten and her team as our Musician of the Month – Althea Tang has been chosen for her wide ranging commitment to all things musical including our newly formed ‘Strings group’ – what a talented young musician she is – congratulations!
